Our school is looking for a passionate filmmaker who is committed to Christ…and loves students! We are looking for someone to further develop an already healthy film program. We are also currently building a 52,000 sq. foot media center…including a 5200 sq foot sound stage/studio. Now we need the right faculty. Applicants should have an MFA or PhD in a film related field.

    If interested, please contact:

    Hey Norton,

I know that you are in South Florida and I wanted to know if you are planning to have or already have a filmmaker’s camp or class down here in South Florida?

Would personally love to take it and I know a couple of people who would probably be interested as well.

Thanks and I hope to meet you soon.

    Phillip,

Don’t give up on the filmmakers camp. I encourage you to keep trying. We would love to have you there. God once talked to me about something I was praying really hard about, when I finished the prayer, the Lord said: “Norton, how bad do you really want it”. I soon realized that the Lord really knew my heart, and He knew that what I was praying for was not for me, but for a friend. God knows our heart. The Lord is always looking to give us the desires of our heart, that’s why he plants the seed in us for the specific desire, so that we may go after it. And what shows the Lord how serious we want something, is when He sees us going after it with everything we got. If we really, really want it, God will give it to us (in do time and season) and of course, if it’s His will. But then again, if he plants the seed of desire in us… then, there is usually a good reason for it.
Just a thought my friend, just keep pray about it. I just feel in my heart the Lord has given you a unique-vision that we share and support. I also e-mailed you today, I really like your blog. Thanks for creating it!
